The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has unveiled a new Bootstrap Program 2026 aimed at strengthening the preparation of students appearing for the WB Madhyamik Pariksha 2026. This initiative includes a set of high-demand technology and foundation subjects to help students build key skills alongside their board preparation.
New High-Demand Courses Under Bootstrap Program 2026 for WB Madhyamik Pariksha
Under the Bootstrap Program 2026, WBCHSE has introduced short guidance courses in subjects that are increasingly relevant in higher education and technology fields. These include:
- Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
- Cyber Security
- Applied Artificial Intelligence
In addition to these new offerings, the Board has also upgraded the syllabus of traditional subjects like Modern Computer Application and Computer Science so they better reflect current industry and academic needs.
What the Bootstrap Program Offers?
The Bootstrap Program is designed as a supplementary guidance initiative for students preparing for the Madhyamik board exams. It aims to help students warm up on key topics and build confidence prior to written examinations. The guidance modules will cover:
- Board subject basics such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths
- Advanced topics in computer applications and allied areas
- Technology-oriented themes such as data analytics, AI fundamentals and digital security concepts
WB Madhyamik Pariksha 2026: Eligibility, Registration and Fees
Students preparing for WB Madhyamik Pariksha 2026 are eligible to enrol in the Bootstrap Program. The Board will release a Google Form by 15 February 2026 on the official WBCHSE website for registrations. Applicants must fill this form and pay a nominal registration fee of INR 100 per subject to participate in the programs.
WB Madhyamik Pariksha 2026: Mode, Schedule and Certificates
Classes under the Bootstrap Program will be conducted in both online and offline modes beginning from April 2026. WBCHSE will conduct sessions from Vidyasagar Bhavan, and students who complete the sessions will receive participation certificates via their registered email IDs. This initiative is part of WBCHSE’s broader effort to enhance student readiness, especially in subjects that are rapidly evolving in higher education and employment landscapes.
