UGC NET December 2025 Answer Key Challenge Window Closes Today

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the UGC NET December 2025 provisional answer key challenge window today, marking the final opportunity for candidates to raise objections against the released answers. Aspirants who appeared for the examination must submit their challenges within the stipulated time to have them considered. No objections will be accepted once the window closes.

How to Challenge UGC NET December 2025 Answer Key

Candidates who are not satisfied with any answer provided in the provisional key can raise objections through the official portal. Before proceeding, candidates should keep their application number and payment details ready. The objection process includes logging in, selecting the question to be challenged, uploading supporting justification, and paying the prescribed fee per question. Only challenges submitted with valid payment will be reviewed by subject experts.

Objection Fee and Evaluation Process

NTA charges a non-refundable fee per question for raising objections. After the challenge window closes, all submitted objections will be examined by an expert committee. If a challenge is found valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly. The final result will be prepared based on the revised final answer key, and no further challenges will be entertained thereafter.

What Happens After the Challenge Window Closes?

Once the objection review process is completed, NTA will release the UGC NET December 2025 final answer key. Following this, the UGC NET result 2025 will be declared online. Candidates who qualify the examination will be eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor roles, subject to meeting the prescribed cut-off criteria.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates are advised to carefully verify question IDs, response options, and uploaded proofs before final submission, as changes cannot be made after payment. Keeping a copy of the submitted objection receipt is recommended for future reference. All official updates related to the answer key and result will be available only on the official website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Significance of the UGC NET Answer Key Challenge Process

The answer key challenge mechanism ensures transparency and fairness in the evaluation process. Candidates are encouraged to use this opportunity responsibly, as the final result depends entirely on the corrected answer key prepared after expert review.
