Telangana BHMS AIQ Free Exit 2026: Deadline Today at 4 PM for All India Quota Admissions

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has set October 27, 2026, at 4 PM as the deadline for free exit from BHMS admissions under the All India Quota (AIQ) in affiliated private homeopathic medical colleges. The notice applies to candidates admitted up to the second phase of web counselling for the 2026–27 academic year. Candidates seeking to discontinue without penalty must submit a written application to their college principal before the deadline.

KNRUHS issued the free-exit notification on October 26, 2026. It allows eligible candidates admitted through the specified AIQ counselling phases to discontinue their BHMS course without penalty, provided they apply by the prescribed time.

What Happens If a Candidate Misses the Deadline?

Candidates who submit their discontinuation applications by 4 PM on October 27 can leave the course without penalty under the notice. However, candidates who discontinue after 4 PM will be subject to the applicable penalty clause under government orders.

The notification also states that candidates who discontinue will not be eligible to participate in further BHMS counselling rounds under the All India Quota for the 2026–27 academic year. Candidates should consider this restriction before submitting an application.

How to Apply for Telangana BHMS Free Exit

Candidates should contact the principal of their allotted private homeopathic medical college and submit a written application requesting discontinuation. They should retain a copy of the application and confirmation of submission.

The notification instructs colleges to relieve eligible candidates who apply by the deadline without imposing a penalty. Colleges must also return original certificates, bonds and tuition fees without penalty and update the discontinued candidate’s details on the admission portal.
