TNDGE HSE (+2) Result 2025: Explanation for the Marking Scheme
To pass the Tamil Nadu Class 12 (HSE +2) exam, students must score at least 35 out of 100 in each subject.
For Subjects With Practicals:
- Theory: 70 marks
- Practical: 20 marks
- Internal Assessment: 10 marks
Students must secure at least 15 marks in the theory paper and take the practical exam. Marks for the practical alone do not have to meet a minimum passing standard, but students must participate. A total of 35 marks for theory, practical, and internal combined must be required to pass the subject.
For Subjects Without Practicals (Say, Languages):
Students must score at least 25 marks in the theory exam to pass.
