The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is poised to release the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Result 2025-26 on its official portal, ssc.gov.in Results will be published in PDF format with category-wise cutoffs and a merit list of candidates qualifying for Tier 2.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Result 2025-26 Soon, Cutoff & Merit List Updates

The Staff Selection Commission is expected to announce the SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 1 Result 2025-26 shortly on its official website ssc.gov.in. Thousands of candidates who appeared for the Tier 1 exam — held between 12 November and 30 November 2025 — are awaiting confirmation of their qualifying status for Tier 2.

When Will the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Result Come?

According to multiple live updates from education news sources, the SSC CHSL Tier 1 result is anticipated to be released soon on the official SSC portal as a PDF merit list. This document will list the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for the next stage. Unlike a personalised scorecard, the result PDF will be accessible without needing login credentials; candidates will be able to open it and search for their roll numbers directly.

Expected Cutoff Marks and Category-wise Details

Alongside the result, SSC will also publish category-wise cutoff marks that determine eligibility for Tier 2. These cutoffs vary based on factors like exam difficulty, number of candidates, and vacancies. Once declared, candidates can match their scores against the cutoffs for categories such as UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PwBD. The SSC CHSL cutoff marks serve as the minimum performance standard that candidates must meet to advance to the next phase of the selection process.

What the Merit List Includes?

The merit list will contain the roll numbers of candidates who have met or exceeded the cutoff criteria in Tier 1. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible to appear for Tier 2, which consists of a descriptive paper involving essay writing, letter/application drafting, and other written tasks. Certain posts like Data Entry Operator (DEO) may also require a skill/typing test after Tier 2.

How to Check the SSC CHSL Result 2025-26?

Once released, candidates can follow these steps to check their result:

  1. Visit the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the Results section
  3. Select the CHSL 2025-26 Tier 1 result link.
  4. Download the result PDF and use the search function to find your roll number.

Candidates are advised to save or print the result PDF for future reference, as it is required for the subsequent stages of recruitment.

What Happens Next?

Candidates who qualify Tier 1 will receive eligibility to appear in the Tier 2 descriptive exam, which is usually scheduled a few weeks after the Tier 1 result announcement. Those qualifying in Tier 2 will then proceed to further stages like skill tests (if applicable) and document verification before the final merit list is prepared.
