The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is anticipated to announce the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 2 Result 2025 soon on the official portal ssc.gov.in. This follows the Tier 2 examination that was conducted on 18 and 19 January 2026 as part of the 2025‑session recruitment for various Group B and Group C posts in government departments. Candidates who appeared in the Tier 2 stage can check their result PDF once released, which will contain roll numbers and qualifying status of shortlisted candidates. The result will also include cutoff marks and merit list details.
SSC CGL Tier 2 2025 Exam Overview
The SSC CGL Tier II examination 2025 was conducted online as a computer‑based test on 18 and 19 January 2026 across multiple shifts. Candidates who cleared the Tier I exam – which was declared in December 2025 – appeared for Tier 2 after qualifying the first stage of the selection process. Tier I was held between September and December 2025, and successful candidates were then eligible to appear in Tier 2. Once the commission publishes the Tier 2 result, candidates can move ahead in the final stages of the selection process based on their performance.
How to Check SSC CGL Tier 2 Result 2025?
Once the SSC formally announces the result, candidates can follow the steps below to download the result PDF from the official platform:
- Visit the Staff Selection Commission official website ssc.gov.in.
- Go to the “Results” or “Latest Results” section on the homepage.
- Find the link for SSC CGL Tier 2 Result 2025.

- Download and save the file for future reference.
The result PDF will list the roll numbers of candidates who qualified the Tier 2 exam and are eligible for the next stages, including document verification (if applicable) and final merit preparation.
What Happens After the CGL Tier 2 Result?
After the result is released, the commission will publish the final merit list and cutoff marks for various posts based on combined performance in Tier I and Tier II examinations. Candidates who appear in the result list should also complete any further formalities such as post and department preference submission, which was allowed between 09 March and 12 March 2026 as an essential step before final allocation. Shortlisted candidates will be notified through the SSC portal regarding the next stages, and detailed instructions will be available alongside the result notification. Candidates are advised to regularly check ssc.gov.in for official updates on the result announcement and related notifications.
