Despite the large number of successful registrations, several students reached out to the Commission. Along with the extension of the registration phase, the Commission has altered subsequent milestones, including the fee payment deadline and the correction window schedule. The shifting of the registration timeline automatically influences key post-events related to the examination process. One of the most critical changes relates to candidate eligibility. In any competitive exam, the closing date of the application is typically treated as the crucial date for determining whether a candidate fulfills the age and educational eligibility criteria. Because of the reopening of SSC CGL 2026 window, the relevant part of the examination notice has been updated. The crucial date for ascertaining eligibility will now be considered as the new closing date, which is June 25, 2026.
