State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification for SBI SO Wealth Management Recruitment 2026 for Specialist Cadre Officer posts on a contract basis. The recruitment drive includes 257 vacancies across seven posts.

SBI SO Wealth Management Vacancy 2026

SBI has announced vacancies for seven specialist positions under its Wealth Management business. The largest number of vacancies is available for VP Wealth and AVP Wealth posts.

SBI SO Wealth Management Eligibility Criteria 2026

The eligibility requirements vary according to the post. Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational qualification and post-qualification experience as on August 31, 2026.

Educational Qualification

• Zonal Head: Graduation from a government-recognised university or institution. MBA in Banking, Finance or Marketing and relevant professional certifications are preferred.
• Regional Head: Graduation from a recognised university. MBA and certifications such as CFP, CFA or NISM are preferred.
• Relationship Manager-Team Lead: Graduation from a recognised university. MBA and relevant financial certifications are preferred.
• Investment Specialist: PG degree or PG diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance or Actuarial Science, or CA/CFA.
• Investment Officer: Candidates must meet the post-specific educational and professional requirements prescribed by SBI.
• VP Wealth: Graduation from a recognised university. MBA in Banking, Finance or Marketing and NISM/CFP/CFA certifications are preferred.
• AVP Wealth: Graduation from a recognised university. Postgraduation in Finance, Marketing or Banking and relevant certifications are preferred.

SBI SO Wealth Management Experience Required

This recruitment is primarily aimed at experienced banking and wealth management professionals.

• Zonal Head: Minimum 15 years of experience in sales in Wealth Management, Retail Banking or AMCs, including at least five years leading large RM/Team Lead teams.
• Regional Head: Minimum 12 years of relationship management experience, with at least five years in a leadership role.
• RM-Team Lead: Minimum eight years of relationship management experience.
• Investment Specialist: Minimum six years of post-qualification experience in investment advisory, counselling, officer or product-team roles.
• VP Wealth: Minimum six years of sales and marketing experience, preferably as a Relationship Manager.
• AVP Wealth: Minimum three years of sales and marketing experience. SBI Wealth CRE candidates require four years of experience.

SBI SO Wealth Management Salary 2026

The SBI SO Wealth Management salary is offered as annual CTC, with fixed pay, allowances, and performance-linked pay. The maximum fixed-pay figures are:

Performance-linked pay can go up to 45% of fixed pay, depending on the post and performance. SBI has stated that the annual CTC is negotiable based on experience, current salary and place of posting.

SBI SO Wealth Management Selection Process 2026

The selection process will not involve a conventional written examination. SBI will follow these stages:

• Shortlisting of eligible candidates
• Personal, telephonic or video interview
• CTC negotiation
• Preparation of merit list based on interview scores

The interview will carry 100 marks. The final merit list will be prepared in descending order based on interview scores.
