Section-Wise Trends and Key Insights

  • Professional Ability: This section was the most challenging in both shifts. Many questions required in-depth conceptual clarity. In Shift 2, candidates noted the questions were lengthy though manageable with good understanding.
  • General Awareness: Predominantly factual questions including history, polity, geography, and current affairs (up to August 2025). This was rated easier by many aspirants.
  • Reasoning: Highly scoring and comparatively straightforward in both shifts. Topics like seating arrangements, coding-decoding, series, and syllogisms featured prominently.
  • Mathematics: Moderate difficulty. Questions from simplification, CI & SI, square roots, area/proportion. Speed and accuracy were crucial.
  • General Science: Focused on conceptual application, such as hydrocarbons, chemical equations, litmus test, and sound waves. Moderate in complexity.
