The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the RRB NTPC Graduate Level exam 2026 dates for the Computer-Based Test (CBT-1). The exam will be conducted from 16 March to 27 March 2026. Admit cards and city slips will be issued ahead of the exam, and candidates must prepare for all stages including CBT-2 after the initial test.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the official exam schedule for the RRB NTPC Graduate Level (CEN 06/2025) examination for 2026. The first stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-1) will be held from 16 March to 27 March 2026 across various centres in India. This recruitment drive aims to fill thousands of graduate-level posts under the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC), including clerical, supervisory, and operational roles. The notification announcing the exam date was issued by the RRB on 13 February 2026.

 

RRB NTPC Graduate CBT-1 Exam Schedule

The detailed schedule for the RRB NTPC 2026 Graduate Level exam is as follows:

  • CBT-1 Exam Window: 16 March to 27 March 2026
  • Exam Mode: Online Computer-Based Test
  • City Intimation Slip Release: Around 6 March 2026
  • Admit Card Release: Around 12 March 2026

The CBT-1 will be conducted in three shifts daily to manage the large number of aspirants appearing across multiple regions.

 

What Comes After CBT-1?

After the first stage exam:

  • Candidates who qualify for CBT-1 will be eligible for CBT-2, the second stage written test.
  • Depending on the post, successful candidates may also undergo computer-based aptitude tests, typing skill tests, document verification, and medical examination as part of the selection process.
