The Railway Recruitment Board has fixed the RRB JE 2025‑26 CBT 1 exam dates for 19 February, 20 February, and 3 March 2026 for Junior Engineer, DMS and CMA posts. The city intimation slip for the CBT 1 exam is expected to be released about 10 days before the respective exam dates to allow candidates to plan travel and logistics in advance.
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will soon release the city intimation slip for the RRB Junior Engineer (JE) 2025‑26 recruitment cycle, giving candidates information about their exam city and tentative exam dates ahead of the first stage Computer‑Based Test (CBT 1). RRB had announced the CBT 1 schedule on its official portal, with tests set for 19 February, 20 February and 3 March 2026 across multiple regions.
RRB JE 2025‑26 CBT 1 Exam Schedule
According to the official timetable released by RRB, the CBT 1 examination for JE, DMS and CMA posts under CEN 05/2025 will be conducted on the following dates:
- 19 February 2026
- 20 February 2026
- 3 March 2026
These tests are being organised for candidates who have applied for a total of around 2,585 vacancies across Junior Engineer and allied technical disciplines.
What Is the City Intimation Slip?
The RRB JE city intimation slip is a preliminary document that provides candidates with details of the exam city, date and shift timing before the release of the official admit card. It helps candidates plan their travel and accommodation arrangements ahead of time.These slips are typically released about 10 days before the scheduled exam date on the respective regional RRB websites. The slip is not the official admit card — the e‑call letter (admit card) with full centre address and other specific guidelines will be issued about 4 days before the exam.
How to Download the City Intimation Slip?
Once available, candidates can check and download the city intimation slip by:
- Visiting the official website of their regional RRB.
- Clicking on the JE exam city / exam city intimation slip link.
- Entering login credentials (like registration number and date of birth).
- Viewing and downloading the slip for reference.
The slip will include essential details such as the allotted exam city, exam date and shift. It is advisable to keep a printed copy for planning and travel arrangements. Candidates should keep checking the regional RRB portal regularly for the official release of the city slip and subsequent admit card download link to avoid missing key updates.
