POWERGRID Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the educational and other eligibility requirements mentioned for their selected trade.

• ITI candidates can apply for Electrician apprenticeship.
• Diploma holders can apply for Electrical or Civil apprenticeship.
• Engineering graduates can apply for Graduate Electrical or Civil apprenticeship.
• Candidates must have passed their final examination within two years from the application closing date.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates awaiting their final examination result are not eligible.
• Candidates who have already undergone or are undergoing apprenticeship training cannot apply.
• Candidates with more than one year of job experience are not eligible.

POWERGRID Apprentice Selection Process

POWERGRID will not conduct a written examination or interview for this apprenticeship recruitment. Candidates will be considered based on the prescribed merit-based process after meeting the eligibility requirements and completing the application process.

2. Diploma and engineering candidates should register on the NATS portal.
