PFRDA Grade A Eligibility Criteria 2026

The eligibility criteria differ according to the stream. The maximum age limit is 30 years, with relaxation available for eligible reserved categories.

Educational Qualification

• General: Master’s degree in any discipline, Law degree, Engineering degree or specified professional qualifications such as CA, CS, CMA or CFA.
• Finance and Accounts: Graduation along with specified professional qualifications.
• Information Technology: Engineering degree in relevant disciplines, MCA or prescribed postgraduate computer/IT qualification.
• Research: Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Commerce, Finance or Econometrics-related qualifications.
• Actuary: Graduation with prescribed actuarial qualifications.
• Legal: Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Official Language: Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a subject at bachelor’s level or equivalent qualification.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per category.

PFRDA Grade A Selection Process 2026

The PFRDA Grade A selection process consists of three stages:

1. Phase I – Online Screening Examination
2. Phase II – Online Main Examination
3. Phase III – Interview

Phase I has two papers carrying 100 marks each. Paper 1 covers English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and General Awareness, including the financial sector. Paper 2 tests stream-specific knowledge.

Candidates qualifying Phase I will be shortlisted for Phase II. Phase II also contains two papers of 100 marks each. Paper 1 is an English descriptive test, while Paper 2 assesses professional knowledge related to the selected stream.

PFRDA Grade A Salary 2026

The PFRDA Grade A salary follows the prescribed Officer Grade A pay scale. The scale starts at INR 44,500 and extends up to INR 89,150 through the applicable increments.

The salary package also includes allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Housing Allowance, Family Allowance and PFRDA’s NPS contribution.
