PFRDA Grade A Notification 2026 Out, 30 Vacancies, Apply Online

PFRDA Grade A Notification 2026 has been released for 30 Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) posts. The recruitment covers General, Research, Actuary and Official Language streams.

The online application process started on September 3, 2026, and eligible candidates can apply until September 24, 2026. Phase I will be held on October 15, followed by Phase II on November 20.

PFRDA Grade A Vacancy 2026

PFRDA has announced 30 vacancies across four streams. The General stream accounts for the majority of the posts, while Research, Actuary and Official Language have fewer vacancies.

Two PwBD vacancies are included horizontally within the General stream. The notified category-wise total includes 5 SC, 2 ST, 8 OBC, 3 EWS and 12 UR/General vacancies.

PFRDA Grade A Eligibility Criteria 2026

The educational qualification varies according to the stream. Candidates should check the specific requirements before applying.

• General: Master's degree or a two-year postgraduate diploma in any discipline, or a Bachelor's degree in Law or Engineering. Certain professional qualifications such as CA, CS, CMA and CFA are also accepted.
• Research: Relevant Master's degree or postgraduate qualification in areas including Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning or related fields.
• Actuary: Graduation along with passing or exemption in all seven Core Principles subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India examination.
• Official Language: Relevant Master's qualification involving Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Hindi Translation or specified combinations.

Candidates must also be computer literate and conversant with MS Office, including Word and Excel. A candidate can apply for a maximum of two eligible streams. Separate applications and fees are required for each stream.

PFRDA Grade A Age Limit 2026

The maximum age limit is 30 years as on July 31, 2026. Candidates must have been born on or after August 1, 1996.

Age relaxation is available as per the recruitment rules:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• PwBD-OBC: 13 years
• PwBD-SC/ST: 15 years
• Ex-servicemen: 5 years

PFRDA Grade A Application Fee 2026

Candidates have to pay the application fee online during the registration process.

The fee is inclusive of GST and is non-refundable. Candidates applying for two streams have to submit separate applications and pay the applicable fee for each stream.

PFRDA Grade A Selection Process 2026

The PFRDA Grade A selection process will be conducted in three stages:

• Phase I: Online screening examination
• Phase II: Online examination
• Phase III: Interview

Phase I consists of two papers carrying 100 marks each. It is used for shortlisting candidates for Phase II. Phase II also consists of two papers, with stream-specific testing included in the examination. Candidates shortlisted after Phase II will be called for the interview.

The Phase I examination is scheduled for October 15, 2026, while Phase II will be conducted on November 20, 2026.

PFRDA Grade A Salary 2026

Selected candidates will be appointed as Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager). The notified pay scale is:

INR 62,500 – 3,600 (4) – 76,900 – 4,050 (7) – 1,05,250 – EB – 4,050 (4) – 1,21,450 – 4,650 (1) – 1,26,100.

The gross emoluments at the minimum of the scale are approximately INR 2,05,000 per month, according to the recruitment details.
