Educational Qualification

• 10th Pass: Library Assistant
• 12th Pass: Fire Safety Technician (Oil and Gas), subject to trade requirements.
• ITI: Relevant ITI certificate for technical trades such as Electrician, Fitter, COPA and Mechanic.
• Diploma: Three-year diploma in the relevant engineering discipline.
• Graduate: Relevant bachelor's degree in B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, Engineering or other prescribed disciplines.

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 24 years

Candidates must also meet the domicile or educational qualification requirements for their selected ONGC work centre.

ONGC Apprentice Stipend 2026

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend according to their qualification and apprenticeship category.

The apprenticeship training period will be 12 months. ONGC will not provide regular employment after the completion of training.

The selection will be based on marks obtained in the prescribed qualifying examination. The process includes:
