Odisha Plus 2 Exam Questions Dispatched Under Tight Security

The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, has started the secure dispatch of Plus 2 (+2) annual board exam question papers across the state ahead of the Plus 2 examinations set to begin on 18 February 2026 and conclude on 28 March 2026. A mix of advanced security measures, including GPS-equipped vehicles and AI-powered cameras, has been deployed to uphold exam integrity and prevent question paper leaks. According to CHSE Chairman Mrunal Kanti Das, special vehicles were used to transport question papers from the council headquarters to various districts, including remote regions, under strict supervision. On the first day of dispatch operations, 14 vehicles were sent out, with 13 more scheduled for the following day, ensuring coverage across all exam zones.

Statewide Exam Network and Student Participation

This year, an extensive examination network has been organised: 211 examination management hubs will support the annual Plus 2 assessments at 1,357 centres across 1,909 higher secondary schools. A total of 4,01,623 students are registered to appear in the board exams, according to CHSE officials. The board’s logistics plan includes multiple routes for secure transportation, especially towards remote districts such as Rayagada, Koraput, Nabarangpur, and Kalahandi, where GPS tracking ensures real-time monitoring of dispatched question papers.

AI-Enhanced Monitoring to Ensure Fair Conduct

For the first time in Plus 2 exams, AI-enabled camera systems have been installed at examination hubs and secure storage locations to strengthen monitoring and prevent any malpractice. These systems are integrated with command centres that can detect and flag suspicious activity in real time, enabling proactive intervention ahead of and during the exams. The advanced surveillance approach aligns with broader efforts to enhance transparency, maintain the confidentiality of exam materials and uphold fairness for all participating students. It complements ongoing preventive measures to counter question paper leaks and ensure a smooth assessment process. Students and parents are advised to stay updated through official CHSE notifications as the examinations approach and exam-day protocols are communicated.
