NIT Karnataka B.Tech AI Program Integrates Social Sciences

The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, introduced a four-year B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence program in 2021–22, aligning with the National Education Policy 2020, which emphasises multidisciplinary learning. This programme integrates technical expertise in AI, such as machine learning and data analytics, with skills from social sciences and humanities, enhancing graduates’ employability in emerging domains.
