The National Testing Agency has confirmed the NEET UG 2026 re-examination schedule for June 21, 2026. The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM across India and selected international centres. Strict reporting rules, gate closing time and security guidelines have been issued for over 20 lakh candidates appearing in the exam.

NEET UG 2026 re-exam for June 21 will be conducted between 2 PM and 5:15 PM as per the official schedule issued by National Testing Agency (NTA) across India and selected overseas centres. The examination will be held in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, and strict guidelines have been issued regarding reporting time, entry rules, security checks and candidate conduct inside the examination hall. More than 20 lakh candidates are expected to appear in this highly competitive medical entrance examination.

 

The NEET UG examination is one of the largest entrance tests in India, and the re-exam has been scheduled under a strict monitoring system to ensure fairness and transparency.   • Bags, books and study materials
  • Any written notes or papers
  • Communication devices of any kind

 

NEET UG 2026 Security Arrangements and Monitoring System

To ensure transparency and prevent malpractice, NTA has implemented high-level security arrangements across all examination centres. These include biometric verification, AI-based surveillance systems and continuous CCTV monitoring.
