The financial support will be provided in the form of tuition fee reductions. The institution stated that the initiative is designed to reduce the financial burden of international education while promoting access to industry-aligned programmes in Dublin.

India–Ireland Academic Collaboration and Employability Focus

The event was attended by Kevin Kelly, Ambassador of Ireland to India, along with higher education leaders and institutional partners. Discussions focused on academic mobility, skill development, and employment-linked postgraduate education.

NCI President Gina Quinn stated that the scholarship reflects the college’s commitment to widening access and supporting sustainable career pathways. She noted that NCI, established in 1951 and supported by Ireland’s Higher Education Authority, emphasises programmes aligned with employment outcomes.

The college currently serves over 6,500 students and maintains strong industry connections across Ireland’s finance and technology sectors. Officials highlighted that the scholarship initiative supports academically strong Indian students seeking global exposure and career-oriented postgraduate education.

The anniversary event concluded with alumni interactions and discussions on expanding future India–Ireland academic partnerships.
