These courses, hosted on the SWAYAM portal, provide structured study material including chapter-wise modules, video lectures, and self-paced assessments. NCERT officials stated that the initiative aims to make quality education accessible to students nationwide, including those from remote areas.

Each course will run for 24 weeks, and students who secure 60% or above in the final assessment will be awarded a completion certificate from NCERT.
