The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 will serve as the gateway for admission into postgraduate management programmes at IIMs and other B-schools.
CAT 2025 Registration Fee
Candidates must pay the registration fee online to complete the process.
- General/OBC category: ₹2600
- SC/ST/PwD category: ₹1300
The fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

The extended dates provide applicants with additional time to complete their applications.
Steps to Complete CAT 2025 Registration
Applicants can follow the step-by-step process to register for CAT 2025:
- Visit the official website iimcat.ac.in
- Click on “New Candidate Registration”
- Enter name, mobile number, and email ID
- Verify the details using OTP received on email and phone
- Login and access the CAT 2025 application form
- Fill in personal and academic details
- Provide work experience details (if applicable)
- Upload a passport-size photograph and signature
- Select up to five preferred test cities
- Pay the registration fee online and submit the form
CAT 2025 Exam Date and Pattern
The CAT 2025 exam will be held on November 30, 2025, in three slots across multiple cities. The test will evaluate candidates across three sections:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
- Quantitative Ability (QA)
The admit card will be available for download from November 5, 2025.
