MP Police SI Eligibility 2026

Candidates applying for Subedar, Sub-Inspector (SAF) and Sub-Inspector (DEF) posts must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

For the technical posts, the educational requirements are different. Candidates applying for Sub-Inspector (Arms) must have a three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates applying for Photo, Questioned Documents and Finger Print posts need a bachelor's degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Candidates must be Indian citizens. Applicants from outside Madhya Pradesh can apply under the Unreserved Open category, while reservation and age relaxation benefits are available to eligible Madhya Pradesh domicile candidates.

The applicable age will be calculated as of September 23, 2026. The maximum age varies according to the candidate's category and status, with the prescribed upper age limits ranging from 33 to 43 years under the applicable categories. Candidates from other states are not eligible for age relaxation.
