MICA Launches 25-Week Online Course for Social Media Influencers

The Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) has launched a new 25-week online programme titled The Social Media Influencer Programme to train aspiring and existing content creators in digital influence, personal branding, and audience growth. The course aims to bridge the gap between creativity and business by offering structured learning in areas such as content strategy, brand partnerships, and digital monetisation.

 

MICA’s Influencer Programme Focuses on Digital Career Development

According to MICA, the initiative is designed to help creators build sustainable careers in India’s rapidly growing digital economy. The course integrates marketing, communication, and technology to shape a new generation of professional influencers. With the global creator economy valued at over USD 250 billion, the programme addresses the growing need for formal education in content creation and digital strategy. Participants will be trained to use emerging technologies, including generative AI, to produce scalable and engaging content.

 

Programme Structure and Key Details

The 25-week fully online course offers flexibility for professionals and students balancing creative work with education. The course fee is INR 1,00,500 plus GST, and classes will begin on December 28, 2025.

The curriculum includes modules on content monetisation, platform algorithms, AI-driven tools, collaboration strategy, and audience growth planning.

 

Led by MICA Faculty and Industry Experts

The course will be led by Dr. Falguni Vasavada and Professor Siddharth Deshmukh, both well-known MICA faculty members and active digital creators. Their sessions will combine theoretical knowledge with real-world insights into influencer marketing and audience engagement. Adding to the industry perspective, Viraj Sheth, Co-founder and CEO of Monk Entertainment, will serve as the programme’s industry expert. He will conduct two masterclasses — Media Training for Digital Thought Leaders and Multi-Platform Content Distribution & Growth Strategy.

 

Internship Opportunity with Monk Entertainment

MICA has also announced a paid internship opportunity for the top five performing participants at Monk Entertainment, Mumbai. The internship will provide hands-on experience in creator management, brand collaborations, and digital campaign execution. Participants will also gain access to mentorship sessions, live classes, and personalised feedback throughout the course to refine their digital identity and career strategy.
