The first attempt of MHT CET 2026 (11–19 April) clashes with BITSAT 2026 Session 1 (15–17 April), creating difficulties for students appearing in both exams. Affected candidates can contact exam authorities or opt for the BITSAT absentee slot to avoid missing either test.

MHT CET 2026 Exam Clashes with BITSAT Session 1, Student Options

Engineering aspirants are facing scheduling conflicts as the MHT CET 2026 exam for PCM (11–19 April) overlaps with BITSAT 2026 Session 1 (15–17 April). Both exams are critical for admission into engineering programmes, and students appearing for both are concerned about the clash. The MHT CET admit card is expected to be released in the first week of April, while BITSAT slot booking for Session 1 is scheduled from 27 March to 31 March 2026. Since students will not have their exact MHT CET exam dates before the BITSAT slot booking period, the clash cannot be avoided through slot selection alone.

Options for Candidates Facing the MHT CET–BITSAT Clash

Candidates appearing for both exams have a few ways to manage the conflict, though these options can only be used after the release of the MHT CET admit card:

Contact Exam Authorities

  • Candidates should immediately contact the official helplines of BITSAT or the Maharashtra State CET Cell if their exams are scheduled on the same day.
  • Authorities may offer guidance or solutions for rescheduling in genuine cases.

Use BITSAT Absentee Slot

  • BITSAT provides an absentee slot for candidates who cannot appear on the original exam date due to valid reasons, including clashes with other entrance exams.
  • Students need to register separately for the absentee slot to receive a hall ticket for the revised exam date.
  • The exact dates for the absentee slot will be announced later by BITS Pilani.

Key Exam Dates to Note

Candidates are advised to stay updated with official notifications and plan their schedule carefully to avoid missing either examination. Early communication with authorities is crucial for resolving scheduling conflicts.
