MHA I4C Winter Internship 2025: Apply by October 17 for Cybercrime

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), through its Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), has announced the Winter Internship Programme 2025. This initiative is aimed at providing undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students hands-on exposure in cybersecurity, digital forensics, and cybercrime investigation. The last date to apply is October 17, 2025.

 

Eligibility Criteria for I4C Winter Internship 2025

Students pursuing UG, PG, or PhD degrees in the following fields are eligible to apply:

  • Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering
  • Electrical & Electronic Communication Engineering
  • Cyber Security, Information Security, Cyber Forensics
  • Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics
  • LLB, LLM, Criminology, Sociology
  • Blockchain Technology, Ethical Hacking, Malware Analysis – Reverse Engineering
  • API/Software Development, Automation
  • Journalism/Mass Communication/Digital Journalism
  • Digital Media, Graphic Designing, Video Editing
  • Events/PR Studies, BBA/MBA (Data Analytics)

All applicants must upload required documents during submission, which will be verified before shortlisting. Selected candidates will be notified within 4–5 weeks after the deadline.

 

How to Apply for I4C Winter Internship 2025?

Candidates can apply by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official I4C website: i4c.mha.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the “What’s New” section.
  3. Download the Internship SOP, application form, and undertaking.
  4. Apply online through the Google Form link and submit all required documents.

 

Internship Details and Benefits

The I4C Winter Internship offers students the chance to work closely with cybercrime experts and gain practical experience in:

  • Digital forensics and cyber investigations
  • Data analytics and AI applications in cybersecurity
  • Real-world cybercrime case exposure

Although the internship is unpaid and accommodation will not be provided by I4C or State/UT police, successful interns will receive a certificate of completion from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre. This internship is an opportunity for students to contribute to national security and public safety while enhancing practical skills in cybersecurity and related fields.
