NTA Clarifies JEE Main 2026 Notice Not Related to Exam City

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that the public notice issued on September 29, 2025, regarding document verification is not related to exam city or centre allotment for JEE Main 2026 or any other NTA exams. The agency confirmed that JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in two sessions, scheduled for January and April 2026.
Clarification on JEE Main 2026 Notice
The NTA notice aimed to help students avoid errors while filling the online application form due to mismatches in Aadhaar, Class 10 certificate, or other documents. Candidates were advised to:
- Update and verify Aadhaar and UDID cards
- Check category certificates and other supporting documents
The notice clearly does not affect city or exam centre allotment. The NTA Director emphasized that this advisory is only for document verification purposes before the application process begins.
