Manipal Academy of Higher Education has successfully conducted the MET 2026 Phase 1 exam on 13 April and 14 April 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now prepare for the next phase and upcoming result announcements.

 

MET 2026 Phase 1 Exam Dates and Pattern Details

The entrance exam was conducted as a computer-based test across multiple centres. It followed a structured format with objective and numerical questions.

  • Exam dates: 13 April and 14 April 2026
  • Mode: Computer-based test
  • Shifts: Morning (9 AM to 11 AM), Afternoon (2 PM to 4 PM)
  • Question format:
    • 45 MCQs
    • 15 Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions

 

MET 2026 Phase 1 Paper Analysis and Difficulty Level

Students who appeared for the exam rated the overall difficulty level as moderate. Some sections were relatively easier, while others required more time and conceptual clarity.

  • Overall difficulty: Moderate
  • Physics: Moderate with tricky numerical questions
  • Chemistry: Easy to moderate with focus on Organic Chemistry
  • Mathematics: Moderate to tough with lengthy problems
  • English: Easy

Mathematics was considered the most challenging section due to lengthy calculations, while Chemistry and English were relatively scoring.

The exam included a mix of Class 11 and 12 syllabus, with a higher weightage on Class 12 topics. Key topics from each section are listed below.

  • Physics: Capacitors, Current Electricity, AC, Optics, Kinematics
  • Chemistry: Organic reactions, Chemical Bonding, Electrochemistry
  • Mathematics: Calculus, Integration, Vector 3D, Differential Calculus

 

What After MET 2026 Phase 1 Exam?

Candidates who appeared for Phase 1 can expect the scorecard to be released soon on the official website manipal.edu. The scores will be used for admission and counselling processes. Meanwhile, candidates who wish to improve their scores or missed Phase 1 can apply for the next phase.

 

MET 2026 Phase 2 Registration and Exam Dates

The registration window for MET 2026 Phase 2 is currently open. Interested candidates must complete the application process before the deadline.
