MAHE is conducting MET 2026 exam on 14 April in two shifts across various centres. Candidates must carry admit card and valid ID proof. The exam includes 60 questions, and paper analysis along with answer keys is expected after completion.
The MET 2026 exam is being conducted on 14 April 2026 by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education in two shifts. The entrance test is held for admission to various engineering programmes. Candidates appearing for the exam must follow all guidelines and carry mandatory documents to the examination centre.
MET 2026 April 14 Shift Timings and Exam Schedule
The MET exam is being conducted in two sessions on the same day. Candidates must report as per their allotted shift timing. The shift-wise exam schedule is provided below:
- Morning Shift: 9 AM to 11 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 2 PM to 4 PM
Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least one hour before the reporting time to complete verification procedures.
MET 2026 Exam Pattern and Question Paper Details
The MET 2026 question paper follows a structured format combining objective and numerical-type questions. Candidates can check the exam pattern below:
- Total Questions: 60
- MCQs: 45 questions
- NAT (Numerical Answer Type): 15 questions
After the exam concludes, memory-based question papers along with answer keys and solutions are expected to be released. Paper analysis based on student reactions will help evaluate the difficulty level and key topics.
MET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines and Dress Code Instructions
Candidates must strictly follow the official guidelines while appearing for the examination. Non-compliance may lead to disqualification. Important instructions are listed below:

- Reach the centre at least one hour early
- Electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall

The MET 2026 admit card for the April 14 exam has been released online. Candidates must download and print it before the exam. Steps to download the hall ticket:

- Enter MAHE application number and password
- Click on the hall ticket link
- Download and take a printout for exam use
The admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the examination hall. Candidates without it will not be permitted to appear for the test.
