  • Avoid carrying extra stationery, only a blue or black ballpoint pen is permitted.
  • Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, earphones, or Bluetooth devices are strictly prohibited.
  • Do not bring bags or valuables, as there will be no storage facility provided at the exam centre.
  • Any form of cheating, misconduct, or disturbance during the exam will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Leaving the exam hall early is not allowed; candidates must stay until the test duration is completed.

MAT 2025 Exam Pattern

All sections in the MAT exam carry equal importance, both in terms of marks and the number of questions. Unlike exams such as CAT, MAT does not have sectional time limits, giving candidates flexibility in managing their time.It is important to plan time allocation wisely across all sections to maintain balance and maximize attempts.A good strategy is to aim for at least two-thirds of the questions in each section to enhance overall scoring potential. Candidates should avoid random guessing, as negative marking applies for incorrect answers.
