NEET 2025 answer key has been officially released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 3rd June, 2025, along with the candidate response sheets (OMR sheets). Candidates can also raise objections or challenge the answer key, but the window to do so closes on the same day, 5th June, 2025.
Although the release of the answer key was initially anticipated by the end of May, it was eventually made available on 3rd June, 2025.
Students who took the NEET 2025 exam on 4th May, 2025 are advised to regularly visit the official website - www.neet.nta.nic.in for updates.
How to Access NEET 2025 Answer Key and OMR Sheet?
Candidates can follow the instructions below to view and download the NEET 2025 provisional answer key and OMR response sheet:
- Go to the official NEET 2025 website: neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link for the NEET 2025 OMR response sheet and official answer key.
- Log in using the NEET 2025 application number along with either the password or date of birth and the security pin.
- Download the provisional answer key and the OMR sheet for the relevant question paper set.
- Match the responses recorded in the OMR sheet with the answers provided in the key for verification.
NEET 2025 Answer Key: Marking Scheme
In cases where multiple answer choices are determined to be correct, candidates selecting any one of the valid options will receive four marks (+4). If it is found that all options for a question are correct, then four marks will be granted to every candidate who attempted that question.
If a question is found incorrect, invalid, or is withdrawn entirely, all candidates who appeared for the exam will be awarded four marks (+4), regardless of whether or not they attempted that particular question.
NEET Answer Key Release: Previous Year Trends
Below are the answer key release timelines for NEET from previous years:
- In 2024, NEET was held on 5th May, and the provisional answer key was released on 29th May, after a 24-day gap.
- In 2023, NEET UG took place on 7th May, and the answer key was published on 4th June , 28 days later.
- In 2022, NEET UG was conducted on 17th July, and the provisional answer key was made available on 31st August, following a 45-day interval.
NEET UG 2025 Answer Key Objection Process
Candidates are allowed to challenge the NEET UG 2025 provisional answer key if they find any discrepancies. The objection window will remain open until 5th June, 2025. To file a challenge against a specific answer or recorded response, a non-refundable fee of INR 200 per question must be paid. Objections will only be processed once the required fee is successfully submitted. It is important to note that no objections will be accepted without the payment, and all challenges must be submitted exclusively through the official online portal and no other methods will be accepted.
