KSET 2026 Grace Marks Rules Explained

The KSET 2026 grace marks rules explain how candidates may be awarded marks if a question is found to be incorrect or does not have a correct answer. The treatment depends on the nature of the error identified during the answer-key review.

According to the reported rules, grace marks may apply in the following circumstances:

• Incorrect question: If a question is found to be incorrect for a particular subject, all candidates may receive grace marks irrespective of the option they selected.
• No correct answer: If a question has no correct answer, candidates who attempted that question may receive grace marks.
• Change in the correct option: If the correct answer changes from one of the four given options to another, grace marks are not awarded under this rule. Candidates who selected the accepted correct answer receive marks according to the marking scheme.

These rules apply to Paper 1 and Paper 2 when the relevant conditions are met. The final answer key will indicate the accepted answers following the objection review. Candidates should wait for KEA's official clarification before assuming that any particular question will receive grace marks.
