A comparison of the two examination sessions shows that the pass percentage increased in every category. The most substantial rise was recorded among candidates appearing for Group I, where the pass rate increased by 12.89 percentage points.

The May 2026 figures are available in the official ICAI press release for the May Intermediate examination. The September figures show that the improvement was not limited to one group.
