Karnataka PGCET 2026 Counselling: Revised Dates and Deadline

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has revised the Karnataka PGCET 2026 counselling dates, extending the deadline for candidates allotted seats in Round 1. Students now have until October 12, 2026, to complete the required admission formalities, including fee payment, downloading the seat confirmation slip and reporting to the allotted college.

The extension applies to admissions through Karnataka PGCET for postgraduate courses, including MBA, MCA, ME and MTech. Candidates who have received a seat allotment should complete the pending steps within the revised deadline to avoid losing their allotted seat.

Karnataka PGCET 2026 Revised Counselling Schedule

KEA has extended the deadline for post-allotment activities to give seat-allotted candidates additional time to complete admission formalities. The revised dates cover the admission fee, confirmation slip and college reporting.

Candidates should not wait until the last day to make the payment. Fee transactions through challan or designated bank branches may depend on banking hours. Students must also check the latest KEA instructions for the exact reporting requirements.

How to Complete Karnataka PGCET 2026 Admission Formalities?

Candidates who have been allotted seats can follow these steps to complete the remaining process:

1. Visit the official KEA PGCET 2026 portal.
2. Log in to the candidate account.
3. Pay the admission fee within the applicable banking hours.
4. Download the seat confirmation slip or admission order after successful payment.
5. Prepare the required original documents.
6. Report to the allotted college within its working hours on the notified date.

Students should save copies of their payment receipt and admission documents for future reference.

Karnataka PGCET 2026 Fee Payment and Seat Confirmation Slip

Candidates who have secured a seat through Karnataka PGCET Round 1 seat allotment must pay the admission fee through the official KEA portal or the payment method specified by the authority. After successful payment, they should download the PGCET 2026 seat confirmation slip, also referred to as the admission order.

The confirmation slip is an important document for completing the admission process. Students should verify their details and keep a copy ready before visiting the allotted college. Fee payment alone may not complete the admission process if the remaining formalities are pending.

College Reporting Deadline for Karnataka PGCET 2026

After paying the fee and downloading the admission order, candidates must report to their allotted college with the required original documents. The revised deadline for college reporting is October 12, 2026, during the institution's working hours.

Candidates should carry their allotment details, fee payment proof, confirmation slip and original documents required by the college. They should confirm any additional document requirements with their allotted institution before travelling.

Missing the final reporting deadline may put the allotted seat at risk. Students should follow the instructions in the KEA notice and complete each required step on time.

Is Karnataka PGCET 2026 Option Entry Open Again?

The latest date revision does not announce a reopening or change to the Karnataka PGCET 2026 option entry process. Candidates should not assume that they can modify their college preferences because the fee payment and reporting deadlines have been extended.

Students awaiting the next counselling round should monitor KEA announcements for any new schedule. The latest notice focuses on completing the post-allotment process for candidates who have already received seats.
