Karnataka NEET PG 2025 Round 3 Allotment Result Put on Hold

Karnataka NEET PG 2025 Round 3 allotment result has been withheld by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) following a direction from the Karnataka High Court. The authority has been instructed to reopen the option entry window for in-service candidates before releasing the revised seat allotment list.

High Court Directs Reopening of Option Entry

The decision comes after two in-service category candidates approached the High Court, seeking acceptance of their Form-H submissions dated 8 January 2026 and 20 January 2026. These forms pertained to de-categorised in-service seats that remained vacant after the second round of counselling. The petitioners requested that these vacant seats be offered to eligible in-service candidates before the commencement of the mop-up round. As no action was taken earlier, the matter was brought before the court. The Bengaluru division bench comprising Justice Jayant Banerji and Justice T.M. Nadaf reserved its judgment on 12 February 2026. The bench directed that the earlier interim order will remain in effect until the final judgment, allowing KEA to conduct option entry and registration for in-service candidates.
