Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has started its postgraduate admissions for the 2025–26 academic session. Admissions are being offered based on scores from CUET PG, GAT-B, and CCMT for various master's programs such as MA, MSc, MCA, and Advanced Diplomas.
The online registration is currently open and will close on 16th June, 2025, at 11:50 PM. Applicants must log in to the JNU admission portal using their CUET PG application number and date of birth. A correction window for editing submitted applications will be available from 17th to 18th June, 2025.
CUET PG 2025 is applicable for admissions to MA, MSc, MCA, MPH, MTech (excluding Computer Science and ECE), PG Diplomas, and Advanced Diplomas of Proficiency (ADOP).
GAT-B scores are accepted for MSc in Biotechnology and Computational Biology programs.
CCMT is used for MTech admissions in Computer Science and Electronics & Communication Engineering, based on GATE scores.
JNU will release its admission merit lists in multiple phases, the first on 27th June, the second on 5th July, and the third on 14th July. The final date for admission and registration is 14th August. Physical document verification will occur in stages: 21st to 25th July, 28th and 29th July, and 13th to 14th August. A final round of admissions for vacant seats is scheduled for 8th August.
The university also provides deprivation points to benefit candidates from Quartile 1 or 2 districts, Kashmiri migrants, and female or transgender applicants, enhancing their chances of selection.
