The University of Delhi (DU) has opened applications for the DU Financial Support Scheme (FSS) 2026-27, offering fee assistance to eligible students based on their annual family income. The scheme is being implemented through the Office of the Dean Students’ Welfare (DSW). Eligible students can submit the DU FSS 2026-27 application form online until October 13, 2026.

Under the Delhi University Financial Support Scheme 2026-27, eligible students can receive a fee waiver of up to 100%, subject to the applicable income category and maximum waiver limit. The DU Financial Support Scheme 2026-27 eligibility is available to full-time bonafide students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degree programmes in eligible University of Delhi departments, institutes or centres.

However, the scheme does not cover every student enrolled in the DU system. Students studying in constituent colleges, BTech programmes except CIC, five-year integrated law programmes, School of Open Learning (SOL) and NCWEB are excluded. Students with an Essential Repeat (ER) in any previous examination are also not eligible.

Students applying for the DU Financial Support Scheme should keep their income and academic documents ready. The required documents include an income/EWS/OBC-NCL certificate issued by the competent authority, family members' income tax returns and PAN cards, undertaking form, bonafide certificate, last examination marksheet, latest fee receipt and bank passbook or cancelled cheque in the student's name.
