JKSSB Draftsman Recruitment 2026: 357 Posts, Apply Online, Eligibility

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced recruitment for 357 Draftsman (Civil) and Works Supervisor posts under the Public Works (R&B) Department.

The recruitment is being conducted through Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2026. The application deadline has been extended to September 24, 2026, giving eligible J&K domicile candidates more time to apply.

A total of 357 vacancies have been announced for Draftsman (Civil) and Works Supervisor posts.

JKSSB Draftsman Eligibility 2026

Candidates applying for the Draftsman (Civil) post must have a Two-Year Draftsman Training Course Certificate/Diploma from a government-recognised institute.

For the Works Supervisor post, candidates must have passed Matriculation along with an ITI certificate in Building Construction or Carpentry issued by JKBOTE or the Directorate General of Training, Government of India.

Candidates must also meet the domicile requirements prescribed by JKSSB.

The age limit is calculated as on January 1, 2026.

Age relaxation will be applicable according to the applicable rules.

The application fee has to be paid online.

JKSSB Selection Process 2026

The selection will be based on a written/OMR-based objective examination. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be considered for the subsequent recruitment process, including document verification. The examination carries negative marking for incorrect answers.
