Admit Card and Verification
Students appearing in JKBOSE Class 12 board exams are required to carry their admit cards along with valid school identity cards to exam centres for entry verification. Admit cards were distributed to schools and candidates ahead of the examinations. Strict adherence to reporting times and documentation is mandatory. Students without their JKBOSE admit cards may be denied entry to the examination hall.
Minimum Passing Criteria
To qualify in each subject, students must secure the minimum passing marks as prescribed by the board. For the general English paper, a minimum of 33 marks is required to pass, while elective and major subjects demand at least 36 per cent overall. These criteria apply across all streams and include contributions from theory, internal assessments, and practicals where applicable.
Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates must adhere to examination rules set by JKBOSE, including:
- Arrive at the centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start.
- Carry only permitted stationery; electronic devices such as phones, smart watches, calculators, Bluetooth devices are not allowed.
- Use of unfair means may lead to immediate disqualification.
