JEE Main 2027 Aadhaar Update Rules: What Should Candidates Check?

Before completing JEE Main 2027 registration, candidates should compare their Aadhaar details with their Class 10 certificate and other official records. NTA's advisory for JEE Main 2026 asked candidates to ensure that their name, date of birth, photograph, address and father's name were correctly updated in Aadhaar.

The previous year's advisory also asked candidates with disabilities to keep their UDID card valid and updated, where applicable. Since the separate 2027 advisory has not been confirmed, students should follow the final instructions issued by NTA for the upcoming examination. Candidates should also check the photograph and identity verification requirements displayed on the application portal before submitting their forms.

JEE Main 2027 Category Certificate Rules for EWS, OBC-NCL, SC and ST

Candidates applying under a reserved category should check their JEE Main 2027 category certificate details before registration. The certificate should be valid and meet the requirements notified for the examination.

For JEE Main 2026, NTA's instructions indicated that candidates could be asked to enter certificate details, including the certificate number, date of issue and issuing authority, instead of uploading the certificate itself during the application process.
