JEE Main 2027 Expected Changes are being closely tracked by engineering aspirants as the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the tentative schedule for the first session of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2027. However, NTA has not announced any major change in the JEE Main 2027 exam pattern so far. JEE Main 2027 Expected Changes: What Is Confirmed So Far?

JEE Main 2027 Eligibility and Admission Rules

The JEE Main 2027 Eligibility Criteria will be confirmed in the official information bulletin. NTA's current framework states that JEE Main is used for admission to NITs, IIITs and other participating technical institutions, with separate admission conditions applicable through JoSAA/CSAB.

For admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, the existing framework requires candidates to have at least 75% marks in Class 12 or be within the respective board's top 20 percentile, with the qualifying threshold for SC/ST candidates at 65%, subject to the rules applicable to the admission year. These admission requirements should not be confused with the basic eligibility to appear for JEE Main. The final 2027 rules will be given by NTA in the official bulletin.
