The National Testing Agency is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 city intimation slip soon on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. The Session 2 examination will be conducted from 2 April 2026 to 9 April 2026 in computer-based mode.
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 City Slip Expected Soon at jeemain.nta.ac.in as the National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the exam city intimation slip shortly. Candidates who have registered for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 2 will be able to download the city slip through the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in once it is released.
The city intimation slip will inform candidates about the city where their examination centre will be located, helping them plan travel and accommodation ahead of the exam schedule.

How to Download JEE Main 2026 Session 2 City Slip?
Once released, candidates will be able to access the city intimation slip through the official JEE Main portal by logging in with their credentials. The step-by-step process to download the city slip is provided below.
- Visit the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in
- Click on the Session 2 city intimation slip link under the Candidate Activity section
- Enter the application number and password
- View the JEE Main city slip on the screen
- Download and save the document for future reference
Candidates should note that the city slip only indicates the exam city and not the exact exam centre.
JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam Overview
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination was conducted earlier this year in computer-based mode across multiple centres. The exam was held from 21 January 2026 to 29 January 2026. For the B.E/B.Tech papers, the exam took place from 21 January 2026 to 28 January 2026. Each day included two shifts:
- Morning shift: 9 AM to 12 Noon
- Afternoon shift: 3 PM to 6 PM
According to candidates and experts, the overall difficulty level of the examination was reported to be moderate, although the level varied slightly across different shifts and subjects.
JEE Main 2026 City Slip and Admit Card
The city intimation slip is released before the admit card to inform candidates about the exam location city. The JEE Main 2026 admit card will be issued later and will include the exact exam centre address, reporting time, and exam day instructions. Candidates must carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre on the exam day.
