The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination, witnessing record-breaking participation from engineering aspirants across the country. According to official data, the exam has recorded an attendance of 96.15%, making it one of the highest-attended JEE Main sessions in recent years. Out of 8.01 lakh scheduled candidates, more than 7.70 lakh students appeared for the examination during the initial days. Around 7.40 lakh candidates successfully completed Aadhaar-based biometric verification, ensuring smooth and transparent conduct of the exam.
