NTA has released CUET UG 2026 exam guidelines including dress code, documents and reporting instructions for candidates.
The CUET UG 2026 guidelines have been released by the National Testing Agency ahead of the exam starting May 11. Candidates must follow the dress code, carry required documents and reach centres on time to avoid disqualification.
The CUET UG 2026 exam will be held till May 31 across India and international centres in CBT mode.
CUET UG 2026 Dress Code and Articles of Faith Rules
Candidates must follow the prescribed dress code:
- Wear light or white clothes
- Woollens allowed with early reporting
- Normal shoes, slippers or low heels permitted
Religious items like threads (kalava) are allowed but candidates must report early for checking.
CUET UG 2026 Documents Required at Exam Centre
Candidates must carry the following items:
- Admit card with self declaration
- Two passport-size photographs
- Valid original ID proof
- Transparent ball-point pen
- Water bottle
Special provisions are available for PwD/PwBD candidates including scribes and extra time.
CUET UG 2026 Reporting Time and Entry Rules
Candidates are advised to:
- Reach the exam centre early
- Follow frisking procedures
- Cooperate with exam staff
- Verify details on admit card
Late entry may not be allowed under any circumstances.
