Indian Institute of Technology Madras’ (IIT Madras) Department of Mathematics has been awarded Silver Level recognition under the CAS University Recognition Program by the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS).
This honour reflects IIT Madras’s excellence in preparing students for property and casualty insurance risk management careers and its strong alignment with the globally recognised CAS curriculum.
The Department of Mathematics at IIT Madras offers a diverse portfolio of Undergraduate, Master’s and Doctoral programs in pure and applied mathematics, statistics and financial modelling.
