IIM Jammu Collaborates with ICSI for Academic, Research & Training

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) to strengthen management education, research, training, and professional development.
Key Highlights of the Collaboration
Under the MoU, both institutions will work together to:
- Design and deliver Management Development Programmes (MDPs)
- Conduct Specialized Training Programmes and Executive Education
- Offer Faculty Development Programmes
- Collaborate on research projects, joint seminars, workshops, and conferences
- Develop curriculum and share academic resources
The initiative is aimed at fostering knowledge exchange and creating a platform for developing skilled professionals equipped to address the challenges of a rapidly evolving economy.
Statements from Authorities
A release by IIM Jammu stated that the MoU supports joint initiatives in areas of mutual interest, including faculty exchange, academic resource sharing, and collaborative research. Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu, said:
“The MoU with the Institute of Cost Accountants of India reflects IIM Jammu’s vision of building an ecosystem rooted in academic excellence, research-driven innovation, and impactful executive education. This collaboration will strengthen academic and research linkages and nurture professionals and leaders with the right knowledge, values, and skills to address emerging economic challenges.”
The partnership underscores IIM Jammu’s aspiration to become a globally recognized management institute and highlights ICMAI’s role in developing and regulating cost accountancy in India.
