For Technical Assistant (Laboratory Technician), the same five-year regular service requirement applies to personnel appointed as Technical Assistant (T-3) Laboratory Technician under Category-II.

For Senior Technical Assistant posts, eligible personnel must have been appointed at the entry-level Senior Technical Assistant (T-4) post and completed at least five years of regular service, including two years of probation, in Pay Level 6.
