The HPPSC Police Constable Recruitment 2026 application deadline has been extended to September 5, 2026, up to 11:59 PM. The online application process started on July 10, 2026.

HP Police Constable Physical Standards 2026

HP Police Constable Selection Process 2026

The HP Police Constable selection process includes multiple stages:

• Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Written Examination

• Medical Examination

The written examination will be an offline objective test of 90 marks with a duration of two hours. The final merit calculation also includes marks for height and NCC certificates, taking the total to 100 marks.

For the PET, male candidates have to complete a 1,500-metre race in 5 minutes 30 seconds, while female candidates have to complete an 800-metre race in 3 minutes 45 seconds. High jump, 100-metre race and broad jump are also part of the physical test.
