The Mathematics examination was conducted on 26 February 2026 by the Board of School Education Haryana. Soon after the exam concluded, reports of a possible paper leak began circulating from multiple examination centres.
HBSE Maths Paper Leak 2026: FIR Registered
According to officials, the alleged leaked paper was received on the HBSE Chairman’s official WhatsApp number at around 1:56 PM, raising suspicion of internal involvement. Following preliminary verification, the board lodged a formal complaint with the police. An FIR has been registered against invigilators suspected of leaking the Class 10 Mathematics question paper. Authorities confirmed that strict disciplinary and legal action will be taken against anyone found guilty during the investigation. In addition to the leak allegations, the board also reported 10 cases of unfair means during the examination, including incidents from Karnal, Palwal, and Nuh districts.

Parents and students expressed anxiety after noticing similarities between the viral WhatsApp questions and the actual paper distributed at exam centres. The board clarified that no decision regarding cancellation or re-examination of the Class 10 Maths paper has been taken yet. Officials stated that a final call on a possible HBSE Class 10 Maths re-exam 2026 will be made only after the investigation is completed and all facts are thoroughly examined.
