The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) will conduct Class 10 and 12 exams twice this year in accordance with the National Education Policy 2020. Students seeking to improve their scores in the first attempt can now apply for the Phase 2 examination. The application window for the second attempt is open till 10 April 2026. This initiative allows students from Secondary, Senior Secondary, and Gurukul/Vidyapeeth streams to enhance their performance in up to three subjects.
HBSE Phase 2 Exam 2026: Key Details
- Application deadline: 10 April 2026
- Phase 2 exam start date: 20 April 2026
- Fee: INR 1,000 per subject
- Applicable for students who appeared in at least one subject in the first session
- Excludes additional subjects from re-appearing eligibility
Candidates can choose to reappear in up to three subjects to improve marks. The board will evaluate answer sheets from both sessions simultaneously to ensure fairness.
HBSE Class 10 & 12 Answer Sheet Evaluation and Result
The evaluation for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 exams will be completed by 24 April 2026. For students who appear in both sessions, the best marks out of the two attempts will be considered for the final result. The official result dates are as follows:
- Class 12 result: By 15 May 2026
- Class 10 result: To be announced in May 2026
Only students appearing in at least one subject in the main exam are eligible to register for the second attempt. Those absent in all subjects will not be permitted to apply.
