ESIC has announced a total of 107 vacancies under the Teaching Faculty and Senior Resident recruitment drive. The vacancies are divided among four posts.

The vacancies are spread across 24 medical disciplines. These include Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, General Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Anesthesiology, Radiology and other departments.

ESIC Teaching Faculty Recruitment 2026 Interview Dates

The recruitment is being conducted through department-wise interviews. Candidates must report according to the schedule applicable to their department.

The reporting time is 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on the respective interview date. The interview venue is the Conference Room, 1st Floor, ESIC Hospital, Margao, Goa.

ESIC Teaching Faculty & Senior Resident Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the qualification and experience requirements prescribed for their respective post and medical specialty.

Educational Qualification

• Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor candidates must meet the applicable NMC Teacher Eligibility Qualifications (TEQ).
• Candidates generally require an MBBS degree along with MD, MS or DNB in the concerned specialty, as applicable.
• Senior Resident candidates require MBBS along with MD, MS, DNB or the relevant postgraduate qualification.
• Candidates applying for non-clinical Senior Resident posts must check the specific qualification requirements for their department.
• Medical qualifications must be recognised as per applicable NMC norms.

ESIC Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The maximum age limit is calculated as of August 31, 2026.

Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories as per government rules.

ESIC Teaching Faculty Salary 2026

The selected candidates will receive consolidated remuneration as prescribed by ESIC for the respective posts.

Other applicable allowances may be provided according to ESIC rules and the terms of the contractual appointment.

ESIC Recruitment 2026 Application Fee

Candidates required to pay the application fee have to submit INR 500. SC, ST, Female, PwD, and other exempted categories are not required to pay the fee, subject to the conditions mentioned in the notification.
